The bird whistle has been used for a very long time hunting birds.
We make copies of a whistle found in a grave from the Stone Age.
It is 3 cm long (about 1¼ inch) made from bone and bees-wax.
By blowing the whistle and using one finger over the end it is possible to
make very natural
bird sounds, with some practice of course.
